Anyone visiting Phuket should consider staying in or around Patong Beach.
Patong Beach is the nightlife centre of Phuket, not as rowdy or raucous
as Bangkok or Pattaya but that's because we're more civilised in the south.
Don't be fooled though, all that happens in other nightlife areas of Thailand
can be found here, it's just more discreet. Maybe that's why we get a
higher percentage of couples and families holidaying in Phuket. Patong
is a very large bay with clean sand and safe swimming. Although jet skis
and paragliders are present on the beach they are strictly controlled
and limited to defined areas.
Patong is constantly expanding and even return visitors are amazed at
the changes taking place. The main entertainment zone is centred around
Bangla Road and it's ajoining Sois (Streets). We are situated in the heart
of this area in Soi Eric.
